Rina Sawayama is a Japanese–British singer-songwriter, actress and model. Born in Niigata, Japan, she immigrated to London with her parents at age five. Athens-based musician Σtella returns to her Greek roots on her latest Redinho produced LP, ‘Up and Away’ by bringing bouzouki and other traditional instruments into the mix. The sound is a departure from her earlier electro pop releases. I like the new sound a lot more but included 2 tracks of her older material, mainly to see the transformation she seems to be going through with her music.
Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine were a Canadian duo who’s bass heavy urban pop sound belied their humble roots. The pair met in Ottawa in 2014 and began independently producing music together shortly thereafter. In September 2017, the duo competed on the first season of Canadian reality music competition, The Launch, and released the single “Ain’t Easy” through Big Machine Records in January 2018. Melissa Viviane Jefferson (born April 27, 1988), known professionally as Lizzo, is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. She is a founding member of indie hip hop groups The Chalice, Grrrl Prty, The Clerb, Ellypseas, and Absynthe. Her debut album, Lizzobangers, was released in 2013. She released her second album, Big Grrrl Small World, in 2015. Soon afterward, she released the 2016 major-label EPCoconut Oil. On April 19, 2019, she released Cuz I Love You, her third studio album.
