With Fills EP, I further and more deeply explore the idea of the artist as alchemist. From the first foley sample to the final glimmering glaze of glitchiness, layer upon layer of audio, midi, and all manner of percussive potpourri are brought forth from the vast and mysterious higher realm known as my sound library and meticulously manipulated like sound-paint until a brand new piece emerges which can be thought of as the embodiment of novelty, art that surprises even its creator.
